Aim and Learning objectives

The Aim of the module is to give learners necessary wholistic information related to food supply chains in their various forms with a focus on sustainable food supply chains.

• Learners will know how to define food supply chains and recognize types of food supply chains
• Learners will understand aspects, indicators and tools of sustainable supply chains and sustainable supply chain design
• Learners will understand the role played by local and seasonal food in food supply chains
